The Agile Mindset @ Home

If an Agile mindset can help teams at work, can it also help families at home? In a recent interview conducted by Harvard Business Review, Managing Editor Dana Rousmaniere asked me that very question. The result was an engaging conversation that touched on the specific practices that we’ve been applying at home. We talked about why we decided to get started, what it was like to get the family on board, and how things can fall apart sometimes. Dana captured the details in an article on the HBR website. More and more companies are adopting software and product development frameworks like Agile, Scrum, and Kanban — which promote quick, iterative, lean production — to deliver higher quality products, faster. These methods help teams produce rapid, continuous improvements, via daily face-to-face communication and visual workflows.
